Podcast Review: Twin Flames

Style: Investigative

Average Episode Length: 30 minutes

I’m fascinated by all things cults. I’ve listened to a number of audiobooks and podcasts that have helped create this deep intrigue. It has to do with the power of persuasion and how it can be used to persuade people to believe in something that seems unimaginable to me. It makes me wonder if I’d ever be in that position. (Note: I’ve included some cult podcast/book recommendations at the end of this blog.) Well, the Twin Flame podcast peaks my interest in the exact way that all things cults do. It’s about a cult-like-group who believe in going to any length to find your one true love.

Hosted by Actress Stephanie Beatriz, this podcast exposes some of the unorthodox ways the Twin Flame leaders, Shaleia and Jeff Ayan, encourage their followers to secure true love with real-life interviews from ex-followers as well as those perused by a Twin Flame follower. Yet, it’s Angie’s, story that is most compelling. Rejected by who she believes is her Twin Flame, this podcast describes the lengths Angie went to, with the teachings from Shaleia and Jeff, to try and find her soulmate and why she made the choices she did.

This limited series by Wondery can be found on all podcast listening platforms. Check out all 6 episodes (30 minutes each) now for a quick binge.
